Personal Update!

So much has happened in the past couple of weeks! You may or may not have noticed a lull in posting, both on the site, and the social media pages. Although not ideal, no need to fear; there is good reason for this pause! In this post, I simply aim to acknowledge the pause, and provide several exciting new updates to my life!

We graduated! I have been at Baylor University since 2018, spent 4 years of undergraduate study, 2 years of graduate work, and made so many memories. It was finally time to say goodbye on May 10th, when I walked across that stage, followed by my beautiful Rachel, and recieved a Masters Degree! This is the end of a MASSIVE part of my life, but I am so looking forward to what the future holds. Thank you (yes you!) to all of my Baylor friends. You have made my time so memorable. Wether we went on a trip together, were freshman year friends, you were in the Outdoor Adventure LLC program anywhere between 2018-2024, lifegroup squad, or around campus friends, thank you for making Baylor special.

We got married! On June 2nd, Rachel and I officially made the lifelong commitment to honor one another, and honor God through marriage. This was such an amazing weekend for us, and we felt so loved by all of our family and friends. We kept the ceremony very small, and in doing this, there was an intimate environment focused on the Lord. This was likely the most beautiful part; the Lord was the center of attention. Post-ceremony, we celebrated with swimming and volleyball!

We went on a honeymoon to Costa Rica! We spent a week on the western coast of Costa Rica right after our wedding. It was a great time to enjoy the jungle, the beach, and some local food. We stayed in a reletively rural area, with not nearly as much tourism as the northwestern coast. There were some days where we had the entire beach to ourselves! Being able to take a break and enjoy one another was a much needed treat.

We moved to Fort Collins! We are currently setting up our new place in Fort Collins. The Lord blessed me with a job serving as a Student Ministry Director for Faith Church here in beautiful Fort Collins Colorado. We live right at the foothills of the mountains, which is quite the difference from Waco, Texas! We are so excited to build something amazing here, and we trust the Lord in his provision.

As we begin settling in over the next few weeks, expect an uptick in posting and content coming your way! It has been so cool to see how far Rachel and I have come over the past several months, and how much God has been moving behind the scenes. Keep your eyes peeled for more content!
